Phobias tend to affect the normal and healthy living of an individual. It greatly influences the well being and interferes with the ability to work, socialize, and go about a daily routine. These phobias can be related to anything like germs, blood, birds, flowers, specific colors, fire, water and many other things from the real life.

Majority of the people don’t have any symptoms in the normal day to day life. But when they are faced with some kind of object they fear they show symptoms of anxiety and nausea. The most common symptoms of any kind of phobia are anxiety, distress, nausea, breathlessness and panic attacks. These people mostly avoid interacting with people they fear and coming in contact with feared objects.

Many individuals also have blood-injection-injury phobia. These people characterize slightly different symptoms like rapid increase in heart beat and blood pressure which often leads to dizziness and fainting.
