Arachnophobia is defined as an inordinate fear of spiders. This phobia can often be triggered by the thought of or sometimes even a picture of a spider. A serious case of arrachnophobia is much different than someone who doesn't like spiders. Many people who are afraid of spiders have feelings of panic entering. Unwilling to participate in activates, such as hiking or camping that carry a heightened risk of exposure to spiders .People with arachnophobia tend to feel uneasy in any area they believe could harbor spiders or that has visible signs of their presence.
Arachnophobics may feel humiliated if such episodes happen in the presence of peers or family members. The fear of spiders can be treated by any of the general techniques suggested for specific phobias. The alternative view is that the dangers, such as from spiders, are overrated and not sufficient to influence evolution. Instead, inheriting phobias would have restrictive and debilitating effects upon survival, rather than being an aid.

The treatment of arachnophobia is called “systematic desensitization”. With the help of a therapist, the sufferer will slowly learn to face their fears. When they are able to hold a live spider without feeling anxious, they will have conquered their spider phobia.
Energy Psychology:-
Energy Psychology is a type of therapy that uses various techniques, such as acupressure, yoga, t ai chi, prana, qi gong, and energy medicine, which teach people simple steps for making changes in their lives. The techniques stimulate energy points on the surface of the skin which, when paired with specific psychological procedures, can shift the brain’s electrochemistry. While this type of therapy is still a controversial area, it appears to be very help with dealing with phobias.
